I had been looking at Miss Hightons Instagram for a long time before reaching out, and was instantly decided she would be the perfect surgeon for my breast reduction. My experience was smooth, with Miss Highton replying swiftly to any query I had throughout my process. I had a breast reduction after wanting one since I was 15. I am so overwhelmingly happy with my results, and would do it again in an instance. I couldn’t have asked for better care, and feel very thankful to the whole team at Oaklands, especially Miss Highton.

Amazing surgeon. Lyndsey is a highly skilled surgeon, with fabulous natural ability, which have created an amazing result. I had wanted a breast reduction for many years and Lyndsey was highly recommended to me and I am so happy that I chose her for my surgery. From my first consultation, through surgery and post op appointments her caring and understanding attitude shone through. She was available, directly, through social media, to answer any questions, which was great to alleviate any concerns. After being recalled back from a routine annual mammogram and then having various biopsies, this resulted in an area of DCIS - oestrogen and progesterone positive fed breast cancer diagnosed in January 2021. I was fortunate to be under Miss Highton on the NHS and easily transferred my care privately with her. I felt reassured and completely comfortable with Lyndsey at all times. My surgery took place at the end of April 2021. The mastectomies and implant based reconstruction was all undertake in one operation. The procedure was fully explained to me by Lyndsey. I felt confident and prepared going to theatre. The operation went well with just one night stay in hospital. I wore a compression bra for approx 6 weeks after and easily managed the pain with the painkillers prescribed. I had follow up checks and there was always a breast nurse available by phone. I have had no issues from the surgery and the result is absolutely amazing, I have the tiniest of scars with amazing natural look and symmetry. Lindsay kept me up to date with my histology results, arranged my future reviews plus liaised with my GP. I feel extremely confident in Lyndsey and my care will continue with her. The breast care nurses at the hospital are brilliant too, very professional, thorough and friendly. At every visit I felt at ease with everyone involved in my care. I can’t rate Lyndsey highly enough, she is an extremely talented breast and plastic surgeon who will listen, puts you at ease, whilst giving you the most outstanding results.
